-Project coordination :
- Plan and organize the implementation of the center activities in
compliance with the project proposal and objectives, and through
consultation with the project coordinator. This includes full preparation
and coordination of trainings, community nights, social events,
educational classes and other activities planned in the center. - Coordinate with the project team, partners and involved stakeholders to set up an
activity work plan (1) and weekly schedule (2) of the center activities. - Provide weekly report on the project advancement, flag any potential delays
timely. - Make sure to oversee, document and archive all activities supporting documents
(attendance sheet, pictures, beneficiaries IDs) - Prepare payment forecast and payment of minor expenses upon collection of the full
supporting documents (refreshments, teachers working hours, community
nights animators, office supplies when necessary) - Ensure the smooth running of the center logistically, flag to the logistic &
procurement coordinator any needs for repairs. - Ensure smooth implementation, coordination and effective use of the available
resources; - II-Financial management
- Report to the Salam LADC accountant – submit financial reports and receipts on a
weekly basis; - Manage, monitor and track expenses according to the budget
- Oversee petty cash available at the center
III- Networking
- Liaise with relevant NGOs, government agencies and national institutions in the
area to maintain a network and cooperation in psychosocial and educational
fields - Receive visits from donors and other relevant stakeholders
- Assist with fundraising for the project.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience
required: minimum of 1 year - Education
degree: Bachelor Degree in social sciences, education, development or any
related field - Fluent in spoken Arabic and excellent knowledge of English (written and oral)
- Previous experience with NGOs
- Willingness to work with people from different ethnic, religious and cultural
backgrounds while ensuring neutrality and cultural sensitivity - Good management, leadership and planning skills and willingness to take
initiative; - Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues in a responsible
and mature manner, - Passion and belief in the project’s ethics
- Flexibility and informativeness
- Strong leadership skills
