Trainer – Advanced Catering Training
1. Background:
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the skills and employability of individuals working in the food and catering sector, [Organization Name] is launching an Advanced Catering Training Program. This program aims to equip participants with professional-level culinary and kitchen management skills to improve service quality and promote income-generating opportunities.
2. Objective of the Assignment:
To deliver a structured and hands-on advanced catering training program for selected participants, focusing on menu planning, food safety, kitchen operations, cost control, and advanced cooking techniques.
3. Scope of Work:
The trainer will be responsible for:
Designing a comprehensive training curriculum tailored to the needs of the participants.
Delivering practical and theoretical sessions over the agreed period.
Assessing participants’ progress through regular evaluations.
Providing feedback and a final report on participant performance and recommendations for future training.
Ensuring training is inclusive and accessible to persons with disabilities.
4. Key Topics to be Covered:
Advanced cooking and plating techniques
Menu development and nutritional balance
Food hygiene and safety standards
Time and stress management in the kitchen
Kitchen inventory and cost control
Catering for large-scale events
Sustainable cooking practices
5. Deliverables:
Training curriculum and session plans

6. Duration and Location:
Duration: 2 training 10days each training 4 hours per day .
Location: Access Kitchen – Marm Mkhael
7. Qualifications and Experience:
Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in catering or culinary training
Experience working with diverse groups, including persons with disabilities, is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
