To build the capacity of a diverse group of participants (PWDs and non-disabled allies) in
advocacy skills with a focus on disability inclusion and public space accessibility, and to
co-develop and execute an advocacy activity.
Scope of Work
The selected trainer will:
Pre-Training
Conduct a short needs assessment call with organizers.
Design a participatory 2-day training curriculum, tailored to the local context.
Prepare inclusive and accessible training materials (slides, handouts, group
activities).
Training Delivery (2 Full Days, 4 Sessions Total)
Deliver engaging and interactive sessions on:
o Disability rights and inclusion principles
o What is advocacy? Key concepts and tools
o The importance of inclusive public spaces
o Developing and executing an advocacy plan
Facilitate group discussions between PWDs and non-disabled participants.
Support participants in developing a concrete, realistic advocacy plan.
Post-Training
Guide participants in executing one advocacy activity (e.g., public event,
petition, awareness walk, social media campaign).
Provide short documentation/report on the training and activity.
Offer light coaching or follow-up support (1–2 hours) if needed.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience in advocacy training and facilitation, preferably in disability
rights, human rights, or community organizing
Deep understanding of the rights of Persons with Disabilities and inclusive
development (familiarity with the UNCRPD is a plus)
Experience working with mixed groups of PWDs and non-disabled individuals
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
Arabic fluency (required), English and/or French (desirable)
Based in or willing to travel to Tripoli, Lebanon
