Animator (Recreational and Educational Activities)

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Activity Implementation

• Organize recreational activities (sports, games, art, music, drama).
• Facilitate educational activities (literacy, numeracy games, storytelling).
• Adapt activities for different age groups (3–5, 6–12, 13–18).
• Ensure inclusion of children with diverse needs, including disabilities.

Child Engagement

• Create a safe and supportive environment.
• Encourage participation, teamwork, and respect.
• Identify and refer children with psychosocial needs and refer cases when needed.

Coordination and Collaboration

• Work closely with Education and Child Protection teams.
• Coordinate with caregivers and community members to promote attendance.
• Contribute to improving activities based on feedback.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Track attendance and participation.
• Monitor children’s emotional and educational progress.
• Report protection concerns to the Child Protection team.
• Submit weekly reports to the Education Specialist.
