Project Coordinator - Consultant

The BBA is currently implementing the “Legal Assistance to GBV Survivors” project which is part of the ‘Expertise France - Women Empowerment Hub in Lebanon (WE-HUB),’ financed by the Neighborhood, Development, and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI-Global Europe) under the European Commission. This project aims to establish and operationalize a specialized legal assistance mechanism within the BBA to improve access to justice for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV). The project combines legal aid provision, capacity building, and strengthened coordination with GBV service providers to ensure a survivor-centered and integrated response.

Within this framework, the BBA aims to engage a Project Coordinator responsible for the day-to-day operational coordination and implementation of the project, ensuring timely execution of the activities in line with the project workplan.

The Project Coordinator will support the operationalization of the GBV Legal Assistance Mechanism within the BBA by facilitating coordination, communication and organization of project activities, ensuring their effective implementation.

Under the supervision of the Project Manager and in close coordination with the Project Team, the Project Coordinator will:
- Support the operationalization of the GBV Legal Assistance Mechanism within the BBA
- Facilitate the day-to-day coordination and implementation of project activities in line with the approved workplan
- Assist in organizing project activities, including trainings, meetings, and outreach sessions
- Support communication and coordination between the project team, BBA, and external stakeholders
- Maintain proper documentation and follow-up on project activities and timelines

The Project Coordinator will ensure 12 working days per month.
