TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the overall supervision of the PPM Representative and in close collaboration with UN Women the project Assistant will be responsible on the following tasks:
- Maintain project files, organize folders, and update project documentation (e.g., project charters, process flows)
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, record detailed meeting minutes, and follow up on pending action items.
- Act as a central point of contact between the project coordinator, team members, consultant and stakeholders
- Monitor project deliverables
- Assist with managing project budgets by logging expenses, processing invoices, and organizing project resources
- Assist in preparing the narrative reports and deliverables
Essential requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or a relevant specialized field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with NGOs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate.
- Excellent oral and written communication in Arabic and English
- Knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain flexibility and professional approach.
