About Rahma
The Association des Jeunes Islamiques (ADJI) is a non-profit rehabilitation and healthcare organization operating in Lebanon since 1997. ADJI delivers specialized, patient-centered rehabilitation services — including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychosocial support — to individuals with disabilities, children, and the elderly.
ADJI also manages the Rahma Primary Health Care Center (PHCC), a MoPH-licensed facility that offers comprehensive and inclusive health services to vulnerable populations in Tripoli and North Lebanon.
Committed to upholding the highest ethical standards, ADJI enforces a zero-tolerance policy on Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and requires all personnel to adhere to the PSEA Code of Conduct.
About the Project
The Rahma PHCC is currently implementing a 12 month, community-based health and nutrition intervention funded by the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (OCHA/CBPF) under project code CBPF LEB 25 S NGO 35817.
The project aims to reach 7,000 vulnerable individuals in Tripoli and North Lebanon, with a focus on neighborhoods such as Jabal Mohsen and Abi Samra. It provides life-saving primary health care services, including nutrition, mental health, SRH, and immunization, through a multidisciplinary, community-driven approach.
About the Position
ADJI is recruiting a qualified Psychologist to join the mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) team at Rahma PHCC. The Psychologist will support individuals experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or other psychosocial challenges.
Location: Rahma PHCC – Tripoli, North Lebanon
Duration: September 2025 – July 2026
Working Days: 8 days/ Month
Compensation: 75 USD/ day
Scope of Work
The selected Psychologist will:
- Conduct individual psychosocial assessments and structured therapy sessions
- Deliver short-term psychological interventions for mild to moderate cases
- Coordinate with the psychiatrist and social worker for integrated case management
- Ensure strict confidentiality and maintain proper documentation in line with MoPH and project protocols
- Facilitate referrals for individuals requiring specialized mental health care
Requirements
- Degree in Clinical Psychology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in psychosocial support or therapeutic services
- Prior work in primary health care or humanitarian settings is preferred
- Familiarity with mhGAP, GBV protocols, and trauma-informed care approaches
