Environmental services officer

ADJI is a non-profit organization providing specialized rehabilitation and healthcare services since 1997, serving individuals with disabilities, children, and the elderly. It also operates the MoPH-licensed Rahma Primary Health Care Center, delivering inclusive health services to vulnerable communities in Tripoli and North Lebanon. ADJI enforces a zero-tolerance policy on Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).

Role Summary:

We are seeking an Environmental Services officer to oversee housekeeping, disinfection, kitchen, and laundry operations across our facilities. The role ensures hygiene and safety standards, team management, policy compliance, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• oversee housekeeping, kitchen, and laundry operations.

• Ensure proper disinfection of patient areas in coordination with nursing.

• Monitor food safety and cleanliness of facilities, patient rooms, and clothing.

• Manage waste segregation, disposal, and reporting.

• Train and evaluate environmental services staff.

• Organize work schedules and handle purchase requests for the department.

• Participate in quality improvement and maintenance reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Supervision or related field.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospital health supervision and safety program implementation.

• Ministry of Public Health license to practice as a Health Inspector.

• Strong communication, team management, and computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel).
