Job Description

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Officer will design and implement robust MEAL systems to support ADJI’s global procedures. The role ensures that projects are evaluated on quality, relevance, impact, appropriateness, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. MEAL Systems Development and Implementation

o Develop and update MEAL frameworks and policies.
o Implement effective data collection and analysis methodologies.
o Oversee reporting systems, ensuring alignment with ADJI standards.

2. Learning and Improvement

o Facilitate the sharing of lessons learned and best practices.
o Organize learning events to improve project strategies and outputs.

3. Beneficiary Feedback and Accountability

o Implement a beneficiary complaints and response mechanism (CRM).
o Ensure timely analysis and resolution of feedback to improve trust and program quality.

4. Team Management and Capacity Building

o Supervise and mentor MEAL team members, ensuring effective collaboration.
o Identify training needs and enhance the technical capacities of team members.

Qualifications:

· Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
· Secondary diploma in a related field (e.g., Quality management, International Relations, Statisticsor other academic qualifications related to this position).
· Experience in MEAL processes within NGOs.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Transversal Skills:
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage stress and foster teamwork.
· Conflict resolution and analytical thinking.
Performance Indicators:
The success of the MEAL Officer will be measured against clearly defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including the implementation of MEAL plans, timely reporting, and the facilitation of learning events.
