يهدف هذا الكتيّب إلى رفع الوعي حول الصحة النفسية وتأثير الصدمات النفسية على الأطفال والأهل، وتسليط الضوء على أهمية الاعتراف بالألم النفسي والتعامل معه بطريقة إنسانية وآمنة. يقدّم الكتيّب شرحًا مبسّطًا لمفهوم الصدمة النفسية، وكيف يمكن أن تظهر عند الأطفال بطرق مختلفة، سواء من خلال السلوك أو المشاعر أو التفاعل الاجتماعي.

يشكّل البحث القائم على الأدلّة حجر الأساس في أيِّ محاولةٍ جدّية لإنتاج المعرفة حول المجتمع أو فهم الظواهر والسلوكيات والمواقف الاجتماعية والثقافية والسياسية، وذلك في سبيل التخطيط لاستجابات وتدخّلات مناسبة (سواء التخطيط للمشاريع أو صياغة السياسات). وعليه، تقدّم هذه الوحدة التعليمية لمنظّمات المجتمع المدني وجهاته الفاعلة والعاملين فيه في لبنان مفاهيم أساسية حول تصميم الأبحاث، إلى جانب بعض المبادئ التوجيهية العملية التي تخوّلهم تحقيق الاستفادة القصوى من أدوات البحث في عملهم.

Hence, this module provides civil society organisations, actors, practitioners in Lebanon with basic concepts in research design and practical guidelines to optimise the use of research method tools in their work.
This guidebook aims to build the capacities of civil society organisations’ members, prepare them for using organisational management tools, and introduce them to good governance mechanisms.

NGOs now have a growing need for Information and Communication specialists, whose task usually consists of supporting the organisation by shedding light on its activities, organising its media campaigns and communicating with external parties, which would yield bene ts to the organisation’s projects in the eld of development, charity or change.
Based on interviews conducted with doctors, nurses and other frontline staff across West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza, the paper exposes how the stresses and strains of protracted COVID-19 response have compounded existing challenges of working in a health system already rendered fragile, fragmented and resource-deprived by perpetual occupation and blockade, to cause a deepening wellbeing crisis among the Palestinian healthcare workforce.
The State of Humanitarian Professions 2020 (SOHP) is the result of a year-long consultation with more than 1,500 humanitarian professionals. For the first time, this study gathers and analyses key figures on 24 humanitarian professions, as well as on recruitment practices and professional development in the sector. In addition, the SOHP study demonstrates the need to coordinate on the challenges of professionalising humanitarian teams, with 19 recommendations to be discovered in the final report.
