PSS Officer - Akkar

The PSS officer is responsible for the smooth implementation of projects and activities, human resources on the field

DUTIES

  • Supervise and evaluate PSS activities on the field including: life skill trainings and recreational activities
  • Conduct impact evaluations on a quarterly basis
  • Contribute to establishing and implementing operational work plans, setting clear targets and activity plans for ongoing project for the PSS component
  • Develop and follow up on the implementation of the work plan related to PSS
  • Contribute in ongoing field assessments and data collection as required
  • Follow up on the recruitment of trainers and payment cycles
  • Collaborate with partners and other agencies when required
  • Ensure quality implementation of the PSS activities through regular visits to the centers
  • Ensure that data is accurately collected on a daily/weekly and monthly basis and reflective of the projects indicators
  • Monthly/weekly Reporting to the protection officer
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of clients, staff and agency information
  • Ensure proper referrals between social/community services

ACADEMIC EDUCATION

Bachelor Degree in social work, social science or any relevant field

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with NGO
