Project Manager for Acquistion and M&E (100%) Syria
The mandate:
- Liaise with HEKS/EPER local partners
- Assist local partner in development of new funding proposals for various donors
- Assist local partners in developing M&E tools
- Monitoring current projects
- Writing of final reports of completed projects
- Identification, planning and monitoring of new projects
- Identification of new project partners and consortia
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years experience in the humanitarian sector and a minimum of 3 year in field management position
- Familiarity in working with large donors such as USAID and ECHO will be considered an asset
- Solid experience working for international organizations
- Thorough knowledge of the humanitarian sector and relevant standards
- Excellent proposal writing skills
- Thorough knowledge of M&E Systems
- Proven ability to work in intercultural teams
- Ability to work in insecure settings and under pressure
- Ability to work both independently and with teams, excellent facilitation skills, sensitivity for gender & social equity and local culture
- Language skills: excellent written and oral proficiency in English and Arabic
- Applicants must either have a valid work permit for Syria or allowed to work inside Syria.
