The mandate:

• Liaise with HEKS/EPER local partners
• Assist local partner in development of new funding proposals for various donors
• Assist local partners in developing M&E tools
• Monitoring current projects
• Writing of final reports of completed projects
• Identification, planning and monitoring of new projects
• Identification of new project partners and consortia

Qualifications:

• University degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 3 years experience in the humanitarian sector and a minimum of 3 year in field management position
• Familiarity in working with large donors such as USAID and ECHO will be considered an asset
• Solid experience working for international organizations
• Thorough knowledge of the humanitarian sector and relevant standards
• Excellent proposal writing skills
• Thorough knowledge of M&E Systems
• Proven ability to work in intercultural teams
• Ability to work in insecure settings and under pressure
  • Ability to work both independently and with teams, excellent facilitation skills, sensitivity for gender & social equity and local culture
• Language skills: excellent written and oral proficiency in English and Arabic
• Applicants must either have a valid work permit for Syria or allowed to work inside Syria.
