Key activities in your role will include
Objective 1 - Implementation of the CPA Process
- Support the Field Supervisor and oversee the community workers to collectively implement the full CPA process to meet the project deliverables on time and to a high standard
- Provide daily oversight and reporting on the CPA implementation;
- Maintain a high standard of record keeping of CPA related activities;
- Conduct the collection of quantitative and qualitative data using GVC Protection Platform or any other relevant tools to ensure the accurate and timely submission of the gathered data
- Be present at the field on a daily basis to follow up on activities and work directly with the local communities
- Follow all guidelines and protocols for implementing the CPA process to the highest standard
- Communicate and coordinate with communities, municipality focal points, and other relevant field level actors on the daily implementation of tasks.
- Actively identify, in coordination with communities, protection risks, acute unmet needs, and emergency cases (fires, floods, newcomers, etc.) requiring a response and report these, in detail, to the field supervisor for decision making.
- Participate in trainings, workshops, and inter-agency coordinated activities for the timely and effective delivery of the CPA process.
Objective 2 - Delivery of Response Modalities
- Ensure the delivery of identified services and programming under the different response modalities (Emergency, Acute Unmet Needs, and Protection Response Plans) to the highest quality and standard
- Provide daily oversight of response modality service delivery directly at the field level, ensuring correct compliance with means of verification and reporting
- Tailor and define the method of response for individuals, households, and communities specific and contextual needs.
- Provide support to other consortium partner teams for the delivery of assistance as and when needed
- Work with other Action Against Hunger team members to provide accurate and timely assistance to identified participants in the programme
Objective 3 - Field Monitoring and Reporting
- Following the weekly and monthly planning for the programme team, report back accurately on field level activities to the Field Supervisor
- Identify and report possible problems, conflicts, or contextual changes to the Field Supervisor, proposing solutions where possible and pertinent
- Monitor the evolving context and flag any potential protection concerns to the PM
- Monitor and track all field activities and deliveries, ensuring compliance and control is provided.
- Alongside the Enumerators conduct data collection regarding the project and the potential beneficiaries.
- Alongside the MEAL department, facilitate regular monitoring and evaluation activities for the field activities
Objective 4 – Security
- Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan, see to it that the team under his/her responsibility complies with the security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols.
- Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan
Objective 5 - Support humanitarian activities of Action Against Hunger
- Support the emergency interventions of the organization as per the employee’s abilities.
- Support any activity that helps reaching our humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities.
- Promote gender equality within the humanitarian and/or development work
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
Training/ Education: A bachelor's degree in BA, Social Fields or any other related fields OR a combination of education and relevant experience in the humanitarian sector
Technical specific knowledge:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks covering different objectives simultaneously to a high quality
- Knowledge in using ODK and tablets
- Knowledge in Protection Core concept
- Ability to effectively have part tolead a team into the field
- Knowledge of direct community work with vulnerable or at-risk communities
- Experience in participatory approaches
- Knowledge of delivery modalities for Emergency Response and Community Empowerment an advantage
Previous experience: Two years’ experience working in a related field of expertise.
- Experience in the humanitarian sector in a similar position

- Clear communicator with excellent inter-personal skills
- Ability to work with a degree of autonomy on set tasks
- Ability to perform other tasks when needed
Languages:
- Fluent Arabic
- Fluency in written and spoken English
IT and specific systems:
- Windows domain
- Compulsory expertise in Excel
- ODK tablet
Mobility:
Based in Arsal with frequent presence in the field
Our remuneration package:
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
- Salary range from USD 1,346 to USD 1,676 gross per month according to the candidate’s previous experience (based on the standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain).
- Salary progression based on the annual development appraisal.
