تحدد « دنيا للتنمية المستدامة» أهدافاً طموحة كمجموعة متكاملة هدفها تعزيز التنمية الشاملة واستدامتها وتذليل العقبات والمعوقات في سبيل تحقيقها, تقوم على أعمدة التنمية الأساسية ومكوناتها وهي المجتمع والاقتصاد والبيئة والثقافة في كافة أبعادها.
من أبرز أهدافها:
• الحد من الفقر ودعم وتمكين الفئات الهشة والمهمشة وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة والمعوقين.
• تحسين سبل الحصول على التعليم والخدمات الصحيّة والإجتماعية.
• تعزيز المواطنة, العدالة الإجتماعية, المساواة بين الجنسين وحقوق الإنسان.
• مناهضة العنف وبناء ثقافة التسامح والسلام.
• الحفاظ على الآثار والتراث.
• تعزيز الأنماط المستدامة للإنتاج والاستهلاك.
• حماية وإدارة الموارد الطبيعية للتنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية.
• تبني القضايا العامة وحث الجهات المعنية على تنفيذ وتفعيل المشاريع الإنمائية.
Defines «Donia for Sustainable Development» ambitious goals as a package designed to promote the comprehensive development and sustainability and to overcome obstacles and barriers in order to achieve, based on the fundamental pillars of development and components which society and the economy, the environment and culture in all its dimensions.
