Fleet Engineer

Main Role

The Fleet Manager is responsible of developing maintenance quality standards for the EMS fleet and ensuring its application by the EMS stations and garages. 

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze, forecast and plan future maintenance requirements
• Ensure that vehicle maintenance is implemented at the right time, place, price and level of quality
• Monitor and ensure implementation of preventive maintenance schedule for EMS fleet
• Audit quality of repairs
• Supervise the major repair of ambulances: following major accidents/engine replacement.
• Produce evaluations of repair workshops
• Produce monthly and quarterly maintenance reports
• Contribute to the development of the EMS fleet management system

Function Specific Experience

• Experience in quality control and/or vehicle maintenance engineering experience
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Industry Related Experience

• Experience in similar volunteer-based organizations or humanitarian organizations
• Previous experience in the Lebanese Red Cross is an asset
