Case Worker - Immediate Hire

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direct support and care to vulnerable women and girls through survivor centered approach:

1. Provide survivor centered case management.  Case management services  include:
2. Basic counseling and psychosocial support
3. Assessment of needs and resources
4. Developing safety and action plan
5. Implementing the plan
6. Appropriate follow-up and referrals
7. Case closure (if and when appropriate)

Provide direct age-appropriate and specialized support and care for vulnerable adolescent and girl children (including survivors of GBV), including counseling and case management. 

• Case management services for survivors under the age of 18 will include the above steps of case management along with:

1. Age appropriate engagement and decision-making by survivors
2. Do No Harm analysis

Monitoring & Reporting .

• Support the maintenance of the LECORVAW’s case management system and the GBV Information Management System.
• Support tracking of LECORVAW's  static  and mobile activities’ beneficiaries using agreed M&E tools
• Participate in weekly reporting and planning meetings to ensure adherence to standards of care, quality case management, and reporting requirements are followed

Other

• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop LECORVAW programs

Job Requirements:

• At least six months of counseling experience with issues relating to violence against women and girls, gender and development, child protection or social change
• Clear understanding of gender inequality, and issues surrounding violence against women and girls.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients at all times essential.
• Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain composure and prioritize work under pressure, work overtime when necessary and be able to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a member of a team essential.
• Fluency in Arabic required

• Position reports to:                 GBV officer
• Position supervises:               None
• Position works with:                Project manager, GBV officer, Project officer.

Working Environment: Travel and other requirements: Staff will be based in Tripoli, with extensive trainings in different fields.
