Recruitment
- Coordinate all stages of the hiring process, including posting job openings, reviewing and screening resumes, conducting interviews for all positions and overseeing reference checks.
- Onboard new employees and assess new recruits under probation in coordination with their line manager
- Support managers on candidate selection; conduct and analyze exit interviews; recommend changes.
- Follow-up on the recruitment and onboarding of volunteers
Employee Relations
- Handle all employee requests & grievances (attestations, warnings…) in a timely manner
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by assisting managers to evaluate employees
- Attend meetings and prepare minutes of meeting
- Ensure implementation and compliance of HR procedures & rules for the mission
Training and Development
- Organize events (team buildings activities, internal trainings, Ramadan diner, Annual diner etc…) with the coordination of program managers
- Ensure that performance evaluations are done on time as per the JD
Payroll & Governmental Relations
- Establish and update the personal files of SIF staff and volunteers in accordance with SIF policy guidelines and Lebanese labor law requirements; and ensure that all required information and records related to employees are promptly updated
- Follow-up on Staff attendance, sick leaves, off days etc...
- Prepare payroll on a monthly basis and send it to finance for audit
- Prepare NSSF (monthly and yearly) & Income tax (Quarterly and yearly) with the support of the finance department
- Follow-up on volunteers payments, end of contract, and coordinate with volunteers’ line manager to follow up on their attendance
- Prepare expatriates visas & work permits, and ensure follow up of visas and declaration of expatriates to local authorities
Any additional task requested by line manager
Representation (when requested by line manager)
- To attend conferences and HR related working group.

PERSON QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications, experience and competencies
Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management
Minimum 3 years of previous experience
Experience in an NGO is a must
Strong leadership skills and a supportive management style
Strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English (French is an asset)
Understand the cultural and political environment and work well with partners including local authorities.
Confident and proficient in the use of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
