Within the framework of cooperation between the Municipality of Zurich and the Municipality of Tyre, the Union of Tyre Municipalities announces its need for contracted workers to operate a municipal parking facility and oversee its daily operations. The operators will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles, maintaining accurate and up-to-date parking records, and ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the parking facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the parking facility according to operational hours.
- Manage car entrance and exit, including directing drivers to available parking spaces.
- Monitor and manage vehicle flow within the parking facility to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate the parking system, whether manual or software-based, including:
- Issue receipts when vehicles enter the parking facility.
- Scan barcodes and collect payments when vehicles exit the parking facility.
- Calculate parking fees based on the duration when needed and collect payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of parking facility data.
- Ensure overall maintenance of the parking facility, including cleanliness, organization, and minor upkeep tasks.
- Report any issues, damages, or incidents to the appropriate municipal authorities.
Requirements:
- Provide a clean police record issued within the last 3 months.
- Minimum education level: Brevet certificate or equivalent.
- Preference is given first to candidates registered in the city records, and second to residents within the municipal boundaries of the city.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in parking management or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to maintain basic records and handle cash transactions.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with parking management software.
- Ability to work reliably and maintain punctuality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
