Social Worker

Objective 1: Conducts caregivers’ sessions

  • Designs parenting skills and CP activities to the caregivers of targeted community
  • Develops, delivers and monitors structured outdoor and remote recreational activities
  • Carries out structured parenting skills activities through remote and physical modalities using specific methodologies to support the beneficiaries’ resilience and needs
  • Keeps the balance between social, mental and physical activities for caregivers and their children
  • Plans the activity in order to ensure progressive steps from easier to more difficult activities
  • Ensures that the  targeted caregivers have the possibility to participate in designing the activity, to express themselves and to be hear
  • Ensures that the beneficiaries are all involved in the activity
  • Deals with difficult behaviors (conflict, aggressiveness, introversion), to understand the reason behind the behavior and tries as much as possible to involve the others participants as a resource to solve the problem

 

Objective 2: Identification and monitoring of protection risks and protection cases

Objective 3: Outreach Activities

  • Identification of vulnerable locations and assessment of the families
  • Plans and organizes assessment of needs and outreach activities under the supervision of the Team Leader and Coordinator
  • Supports the Team Leader in coordinating CP activities in each of the areas covered by the project

Objective 4:  Refers (internally and externally, remotely or face to face) beneficiaries in need of special care according to referral pathways after the approval of the Team Leader;

  • Refers whenever needed, children attending remote or face to face Community based activities in coordination with the CP Officer and Team Leader

Objective 5: Plans and requests the material needed for the activities to the Team Leader

Objective 6: Organizes regular awareness and CP activities in coordination with the Team Leader

Objective 7: Actively participates in the trainings provided by TDH IT or other partner Organization and participates in the weekly coordination meetings to share lessons learned and exchange experiences

 

Objective 8:  Reports, Capitalization and Communication

  • Writes weekly reports in collaboration with the Team Leader
  • Ensure proper documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies)
  • Shares information on field-level successes and challenges with the project team

And any other duties seemed relevant to the position and assigned by the line manager.
