Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy to those affected by the Syrian refugee crisis when needed and members of the host community in the Safe Women Space
- Identify and treat symptoms of psychological disorders, mainly PTSD, depression, and Adjustment Disorder
- Provide psychosocial support – groups and individuals – to trauma survivors and conflict affected women/girls
- Work directly with the social worker to develop intervention plans and follow up at home level
- Provide direct support and guidance to the social worker on common cases
- Draft reports
- Actively participate in case studies and team supervision sessions
- Provide outreach psychological services (mainly in houses and collective shelters)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Finalized or in the process of finalizing training on psychotherapy – integrative approach.
- Undergone or undergoing personal therapy
- Fluent in spoken Arabic and good knowledge of English language.
- Previous NGO experience is a plus.
- Personal interest in educational and mental health issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills
