Background
Taawon (Welfare Association) is an independent non-profit organization established in 1983 by a group of Palestinian business and intellectual figures to provide development and humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in the West Bank, Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, 1948 Areas, and the Palestinian communities in Lebanon.
Taawon aims to contribute to furthering the progress of the Palestinians, preserving their heritage and identity, supporting their culture and building civil society. Taawon is strongly rooted in the local Palestinian community in Lebanon, making it both a trusted partner and well-placed to respond to the community’s needs. In partnership with local NGOs, we implement projects in five sectors: Education, Community Development and Culture.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide day to day technical, administrative, and logistic support to the Program Department, assist program director and program coordinators in the different program – related functions.
- Assist in the coordination of the program activities and operations as well as in the implementation of Taawon’s projects including the coordination of field visits, organizing meetings, events and workshops, etc.
- Assist in the collection and organization of project and program – related information required for the analysis for program performance and status or for preparation of program reports and documentations.
- Assist in the preparation of program payments; review payments of beneficiaries and partners and ensure they are in line with WA rules and procedures.
- Ensure that projects files and documents are properly organized, filed and archived together with all related information and data (Photos, Logos, Lists of partners, etc.)

- Efficient with solid time management skills
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in social studies, or related field
- 1 – 2 years of experience – preferably with a civil society organization
- Excellent command of both Arabic and English – spoken and written
- Excellent computers skills (MS – Office, MS – Project, and Internet Applications).
