He/She will be also in charge of processing the administrative paperwork, provide general administrative support and document management services. Among which:
- Provide secretarial support for the organisation, implementation of financial and operational internal procedural circuits for the approval of documents/transactions;
- Support the organisation of numerous missions of members of the FPI Regional Team;
- Support in organizing congresses, conferences and seminars;
- Provide support in the organization of meetings with internal / external stakeholders;
- Provide administrative support to FPI staff in the organisation of trainings;
- Provide support for the organisation of missions from headquarters or experts' missions;
- Support the Head of the regional team in his/her supervision & coordination role; ensure proper coordination, communication and flow of information between the team members.
- Professional experience: candidates will, after obtaining the qualifications mentioned above, have acquired at least two (2) years of professional experience related to tasks described at Areas of responsibilities/tasks working within multicultural or international organisations, the private sector or governmental bodies;
- IT tools: Good computer skills on MS Word, Excel, e-mail applications and other relevant programmes;
- High level of responsibility and ability to take initiative;
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent team spirit;
- A sense of discretion, confidentiality and responsibility are important prerequisites for this post;
- Knowledge of EEAS applications is an asset;
- Medically fit to perform the required duties;
- Enjoys civil rights and permits for employment under local law.

The procedure
After the deadline for applications, the applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee set up for this purpose. The Selection Committee will prepare a short-list of candidates who are considered to be the most suitable for the post on the basis of a preliminary assessment of the information provided in their application letter and the supporting documents. The short-listed candidates will be invited to an assessment phase which may include an interview if necessary – during this phase, the Selection Committee will assess the suitability of the candidates for the post.
The candidates who have not been short-listed will not be contacted individually; however, the Delegation will use the same means of publication as for this Vacancy Notice to inform the remaining candidates once the recruitment procedure has been completed and that a candidate has (or has not) been recruited.
