Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Provide expertise on GBV programming in emergency settings, including prevention, response, and coordination.
- Adapt GBV guidelines and tools tailored to the specific context of the emergency.
- Follow up on case management services and PSS provision.
- Setup a plan to respond to the emerging needs on the field in collective sites, collective shelters, Informal settlements and other locations.
- Capacity Building:
- Mentor and support local teams to enhance their skills and knowledge in GBV issues.
- Assessment and Analysis:
- Follow up on GBV assessments to identify risks and needs in affected communities.
- Analyze data to update program design and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in social work, public health (including medical social work), gender studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in GBV programming, particularly in emergency settings.
- Strong understanding of GBV issues, including the dynamics of violence against women and girls.
- Experience in training and capacity building for diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in English, Arabic
