Information Technology Support

Major Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the Digital component in the program (Learning Passport)
• Ensure the tablets, projector and other Digital Hub equipment are operating and handle any required maintenance in coordination with digital Hub focal point.
• Attend regular meetings and trainings.
• Provide the technical assistance for digital Hub Focal Point when needed
• ​​​​​Follow up with the facilitators and the digital Hub about the digital component at center level
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support across the organization and between the centers (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Setting up accounts for new users
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Testing new technology
• Conduct Trainings for center managers and digital hub and any staff when it needed.

Academic Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science, or relevant field.

Requirements & skills

• Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage.
