Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Digital component in the program (Learning Passport)
- Ensure the tablets, projector and other Digital Hub equipment are operating and handle any required maintenance in coordination with digital Hub focal point.
- Attend regular meetings and trainings.
- Provide the technical assistance for digital Hub Focal Point when needed
- Follow up with the facilitators and the digital Hub about the digital component at center level
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the organization and between the centers (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Conduct Trainings for center managers and digital hub and any staff when it needed.
Academic Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science, or relevant field.
Requirements & skills
- Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication ability
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage.
