Migration Services and Development (MSD) is a Lebanese NGO working to strengthen the protection and psychosocial well-being of displaced and conflict-affected communities, including Lebanese returnees, Syrian refugees, and migrant workers.
MSD is launching a new project aiming to enhance emotional well-being, social connectedness, and access to protection services across these regions. To support the implementation of project activities, MSD is hiring a full-time Social Worker for Ghosta in Mount Lebanon, who will report to the Project Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide structured case management, service mapping, referral, and reporting.
- Deliver awareness sessions.
- Apply do-no-harm and safeguarding principles at all times.
- Maintain ethical documentation with confidentiality.
- Uphold MSD's ethical and safeguarding standards at all times.
- Case management:
- Assess the client’s needs and risks
- Develop an individual case plan
- Provide follow-up and support
- Make internal and external referrals
- Document all information in the social file
- Close the case when goals are achieved
Requirements
- Degree in Social Work.
- 2+ years of NGO experience.
- Strong understanding of protection ethics and confidentiality.
- Experience with migrants is a plus.
