Social Worker (Full Time) - Mount Lebanon, Ghosta

Migration Services and Development (MSD) is a Lebanese NGO working to strengthen the protection and psychosocial well-being of displaced and conflict-affected communities, including Lebanese returnees, Syrian refugees, and migrant workers.

MSD is launching a new project aiming to enhance emotional well-being, social connectedness, and access to protection services across these regions. To support the implementation of project activities, MSD is hiring a full-time Social Worker for Ghosta in Mount Lebanon, who will report to the Project Coordinator. 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide structured case management, service mapping, referral, and reporting.
• Deliver awareness sessions.
• Apply do-no-harm and safeguarding principles at all times.
• Maintain ethical documentation with confidentiality.
• Uphold MSD's ethical and safeguarding standards at all times.
• Case management:
  • Assess the client’s needs and risks
  • Develop an individual case plan
  • Provide follow-up and support
  • Make internal and external referrals
  • Document all information in the social file
  • Close the case when goals are achieved

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work.
• 2+ years of NGO experience.
• Strong understanding of protection ethics and confidentiality.
• Experience with migrants is a plus.
