Akkar Network for Development-AND, registered as a Lebanese Non Governmental Organization, envisions itself as an expression of a unified vision of the region, and a common perspective of the civil society's role as an agent of change in Akkar. AND aims to look into the region's needs and work with civil society, local authorities and Akkar community at large, not only to implement projects, but to ensure the creation of a development policy for Akkar.
