- To review COVID-19 awareness sessions, IEC materials and integration of COVID-19 protocols in WASH programmatic activities.
- To conduct field visits providing advice and recommendations to improve the integration of COVID-19 in all our WASH activities.
- To support the base in tracing, reporting and follow up all COVID-19 related cases among ACF staff.
- Support HR department in updating COVID-19 related SOP’s, protocols, and procedures. As well as initiatives relevant to staff care.
- Support the staff care officer to Train ACF employees on COVID-19 protocols and procedures.
- Support the staff care officer in Implementing COVID-19 capacity building initiatives and trainings at base level and field level.
Objective 1: COVID-19 FP for WASH activities (40%)
- To review COVID-19 awareness sessions, IEC materials and integration of COVID-19 protocols in programmatic activities on a regular basis (every 2 months?), aligning the WASH activities at base level with the national response/strategies.
- To conduct field visits providing advice and recommendations to improve the integration of COVID-19 in all our WASH activities.
- Adequate and timely reporting to the WASH PM.
Objective 2: COVID-19 Case Management (30%)
- Actively investigating and tracing cases with symptoms or who have been in contact with positive and suspicious cases.
- Actively report different cases to Staff Care Officer and HR Manager.
- Monitor staff compliance with the standards and identify gaps and breaches of the protocol.
- Support in Proper documentation and filing for cases in a safe and confidential place following HR procedures.
- In cooperation with the Staff Care Officer, Proper clearance for cases in quarantine following ACF procedures and protocol.
Objective 3: Training and Capacity building (15%)
- Conduct Awareness sessions for COVID-19 SOP’s and protocol.
- Build field staff capacity and compliance in COVID-19 health measurements and protocol.
- Contribute in creating necessary training materials related to COVID-19.
- Proper filing and documentation.
Objective 4: Reporting (15%)
- Ensure that Action Against Hunger policies and procedures are monitored and maintained.
- Proper reporting to Ops CO and Deputy Ops CO of breaches in ACF protocol, COC and internal regulations.
- Adequate and timely reporting on all COVID-19 cases, critical incidents to Ops Co, Deputy Ops Co.
- Attend COVID 19 catch up Meeting
Objective 5: Security
- Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan, see to it that the team under his/her responsibility complies with the security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols.
- Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan
Objective 6: Support humanitarian activities of Action Against Hunger
- Support the emergency interventions of the organization as per the employee’s abilities.
- Support any activity that helps reaching our humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities.
- Promote Gender Balance in teams when recruiting
Training/ Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Public Health, or related discipline.
- Post Graduate qualification in Human Resources will be an added asset

Previous experience:
- At least 2- years of professional experience in the field with a humanitarian organization
- Solid experience in delivering relevant trainings and awareness sessions in addition to development of necessary training materials and methods.
- Experience working with a diverse workforce.
Humanitarian sector knowledge:
- Prior experience working with a non-profit community service corporation is a plus
