KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES
· Strong analytical and writing skills
· Proven skills to analyze statistical information
· Experienced in working collaboratively to produce informative note, policy briefs;
· Well-versed in developing and managing the implementation of information dissemination strategies
· At least 2 years of professional experience
· Good Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft package
· Experience using infographics program, GIS and SPSS application / ODK software management required
Key activities in your role will include:
Objective 1: To assist with the development of Information Management strategy and IM tools at mission level
- Develop mission Information Management strategy in cooperation with other departments
- Support development and management of a Common Operational Dataset (COD) at mission level with the assistance of MEAL, Technical and Advocacy departments
- Develop and finalize IM tools and templates, under the supervision of the Advocacy Coordinator and Country Director
- Capacity building of staff on IM strategy
Objective 2: To ensure the implementation of the IM strategy and filling of IM tools, in support to Advocacy and Operations departments
- Facilitate the consolidation of SitReps, Sectoral Updates
- Facilitate the access to key information on Lebanon to HQ / field SMT
- Support proposals development by supplementing them with mission experience, humanitarian context updates and relevant maps and dashboard
- Ensure continuous media monitoring and dissemination of press reviews
- Ensure maps production and dissemination
- Liaise with the Humanitarian Information Management Working Group to support and implement the IM annual plan development
Objective 3: To contribute to trends analysis and capitalization, in support to Advocacy and Operations Departments
- Participate in programmes analysis (including LPC)
- Engage in the analysis of the humanitarian needs and evolution of the context in the areas of intervention
- Contribute to lessons learnt on Action against Hunger operations, as required
- Draft briefing notes and context updates, as required
- ACF employees will show commitment to human rights principles, gender equality and non-discrimination approach in all their work
- Support MEAL Coordinator in producing project capitalization products
Objective 4: Follow security rules
- Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols
- Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan
Objective 5: Support the humanitarian activities of Action against Hunger
- Support the emergency interventions of the organization as per the employee’s abilities
- Support any activity that helps reaching our humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities
- Contribute to the implementation of the gender and protection action plan
Our remuneration package:
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
- Salary range from USD1,930 to USD 2,294 basic per month according to the candidate’s previous experience (based on the standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain)
- Salary progression based on the annual development appraisal
- LBP 8,000 daily transportation allowance on working days
- Social security registration and NSSF family allowance if eligible
