Responsibilities:
- Manage and educate groups of children in grades 6 to 9, according to provided teaching material, using exciting methods and instructional materials to meet children’s varying needs and interests
- Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate
- Organize educational, recreational and social activities for students
- Ensure, promote and facilitate that the principles of child protection and child participation are integrated into all project activities and communication with students
- Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations
- Ensure strict adherence to ADRA Lebanon Child Protection Policies at all times, including respect for confidentiality and child centred approach, acting in the best interests of the child
- Show self-motivation, enthusiasm and creativity.
- Build relationships with parents and caregivers
- Maintain records and prepare reports and recommendations
- Work in close coordination with the administration, Academic Coordinator and Community Mobilizers and Psychosocial Worker
- Provide monthly reports on the progress and effectiveness of actions made
