Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure communities visited understand: the response goal and objectives, Al-Fayhaa identity and role in response, donors’ messages around targeting, selection and purpose of visit, and other basic assistance information such as needed.
- Participate in recruiting, training and developing staff members and volunteers to assist in carrying out community outreach activities
- Document outreach field best practices and Lessons learnt, sharing feedback with response management on strengths and gaps and provide appropriate support.
- Ensure that Outreach staff are trained and apply Al-Fayhaa policies, rules and guidelines and International humanitarian standards.
- Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly outreach reports for Response management.
- Develop proper records and filing for outreach data questionnaires, reports.
- Ensure questionnaires being completed meet the quality and guidelines provided by donor, conduct random quality checks.
- Collaborate with other interested organizations on outreach awareness and incorporate cross-cutting issues such as education, protection, children etc.
- Conduct field spot checks to ensure outreach Staff are good stewards of resources and operate with upmost efficiency.
- Supervise data entry operation synchronized with donor Server and liaise with donor IT focal point to ensure data not lost and well received.
- Develop/review outreach strategy to ensure unit have adequate technical support to meet outreach objectives and conduct outreach visits successfully.
Skills
- Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
- Good writing skills.
- Highly organized.

- Extensive experience working in community outreach and engagement, particularly with disadvantaged groups

- Experience of facilitating and leading creative and engaging community-based workshops and activities
- Experience of working with a variety of different stakeholders, including residents, local groups, and organizations across the voluntary and public sectors
- Experience of recruiting, supporting, and mentoring volunteers within a community project
- Experience of organizing creative and successful events which engage and involve people from a range of different backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills including presenting, facilitation, and relationship building.
- Hard-working, reliable and professional, able to manage a varied and challenging workload and work well both as part of a team and alone.
- Willing and able to work in different environments, including being office based and spending a large amount of time on the ground within communities
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of contextual diversity of various areas of Tripoli, Lebanon.
