Main Responsibilities:
● Facilitate two to four trainings per week for youth from Ouzai community and the adjacent
areas
● Provide structure that facilitates youth participation and engagement by teaching them
planning, report writing, finance, procurement, and project implementation
● Follow-up with the youth on their projects and be accessible for any question or concern
● Ensure that the designed projects fit all the criteria, so they can be eligible for
implementation
● Guide the youth throughout the implementation of the accepted projects
● Coach and empower youth to apply and feel confident in using their learned skills
● Foster peer-to-peer relationships and support to build and broaden youth social skills
and networks
● Provide individual support and informational resources to youth
● Perform all other duties as assigned, including conducting evaluations, writing reports,
and attending regular staff meetings
Skills & Qualifications:
University Degree in a related field
Previous experience as youth leader or trainer required
Good connections within the Ouzai community or means to establish them
Aware of the needs of the Ouzai community and its stakeholders (municipality, clubs,
playgrounds…)
Accomplishes tasks accurately, thoroughly, and with a keen eye for detail both with
quantitative and qualitative data
Efficient time management and the ability to think outside the box to meet expectations
Ability to work both under direction and autonomously with a “can-do” attitude
Fully proficient in Arabic and English
Well organized and attentive to details
Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
