Human Call Association

Introduction:

Human Call Association (HCA) is a nonprofit NGO that presents social and health services in Ein El-Hilweh & other camps.  It was established in 1986 and acquired an official registration from the Lebanese Ministry of Interior in 1988 with a registration number 62/AD.

Health services are being provided through its hospital in Ein El-Hilweh camp which holds the name of "Al-Nidaa Hospital" and works 24/7.  In addtion, it works as a legal umbrella for other small organizations in other camps since 2007.

Services proveded by Al-Nidaa Hospital:

The hospital provides primary healthcare services through specialized clinis and diagnostic services, and provides secondary healthcare through the services of emergency, hospitalization, surgical operations and obstetrics.

Role of legal umbrella:

The Human Call plays the role of legal umbrella for other small organizations that are in need of support to sustain their work and maintain their activities in some of refugees' camps (Ein el Hilweh, Nahr El-Bared and Baddawi).  The reason for this coverage is due to the inability of these organizations to obtain official registration from the Lebanese government while playing an important role in the Palestinian community services.
