SCOPE OF WORK: The CP Case Management (CM) trainer will support the case management national coaching program by providing training on Child Protection, detection of abuse and safe referral to front liners. The CM trainer will ensure that the front liner package is adapted to the targeted group ie: psychosocial staff vs. primary health care worker vs. municipalities’ staff. Etc.
Position objectives:
Ensure that service providers that are in contact with children are trained in Child protection and identification of CP abuse and safe referrals.
Provide other support to the coaching case management team as required
Who this position reports to:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
CM Coaching Program
In coordination with the CM officer ensure that the different area (Bekka, Tripoli, Mt Lebanon/Beirut, the South and Akkar) mobilize the relevant service providers for the training
Conduct training session in average 4 days a week
Ensure to collect are relevant data of participants for the CM team to map out the relevant person trained
Correct the pre and post and evaluate the impact of the training
Participate in the adaption of the frontliner training package to ensure its is adapted to the target groups: psychosocial staff vs. primary health care staff vs. municipality staff, etc.
Document trainings and coaching sessions, identifying best practices and disseminating technical material
Write weekly report on activities conducted
Liaise and collaborate with other CM actors when required
Maintain positive coordination and relationships with partner and other IRC sector staff.

Ensure activities are done in accordance with IRC logistics policy and in a timely manner to ensure the successful implementation of programs;
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop IRC programs
Professional Standards
All IRC staff are required to adhere to THE IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct, child safeguarding policy and the IRC country employment policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in working with children mandatory
Experience in delivering training mandatory
Social work experience preferably
Experience in working in emergencies preferable
Knowledge and understanding of CP Minimum Standards, UNCRC and CPiE preferable
Strong diplomacy and communication skills
Proficient in Word and excel mandatory
Travel and other requirements: Staff will be based in Beirut with up to 70% travel to other governorates.
