The objective of this assignment is for the theatre group to design and implement three (3) community theatre performances during the year 2026 addressing key child protection issues. The specific themes will be determined throughout the year, with a focus on topics such as early marriage, child labor, and domestic violence.

The theatre group is expected to:

  1. Translate real-life child protection challenges into engaging, culturally sensitive, and educational storytelling that resonates with community members.
  2. Use creative and participatory performance techniques to stimulate reflection, dialogue, and community ownership of child protection issues.
  3. Facilitate interactive post-performance discussions that encourage community members to reflect on harmful practices and explore practical solutions to protect children.

  • Ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place for each performance (venue coordination, stage setup, materials, sound system, and required technical equipment).
  • Coordinating scheduling and communication with local partners to maximize community participation.
  • Providing brief narrative and photo documentation reports after each performance summarizing activities, audience engagement, and key outcomes.

  • Interactive Session Facilitation:
Facilitation of a 45–60 minute participatory discussion and engagement activity following each performance, encouraging dialogue among children, caregivers, and community members on child protection issues and practical prevention strategies.
  • Brief Narrative Reports:
