Main Tasks:
Conduct community outreach to raise awareness on LECORVAW’s programs and services.
Mobilize men, youth, and other community members to actively participate in project activities.
Organize and facilitate information sessions, focus group discussions, and community meetings.
Identify community needs, gaps, and protection risks, and report them to the project team.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with local leaders, youth groups, and other stakeholders.
Support the implementation of awareness campaigns and community events.
Refer individuals in need of services to relevant internal or external actors following LECORVAW’s referral pathways.
Document activities, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of outreach sessions.
Ensure adherence to safeguarding, gender sensitivity, and protection principles during all activities.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Project Officer/Field Coordinator.
Coordination
Coordinate with service providers, INGO, LNGO, SDC and other relevant actors.
Conduct and update the service mapping on continuous basis.
Coordinate with case workers, outreach volunteers and other staff to ensure sharing of information and joint planning.
Other
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop LECORVAW programs
Technical skills:

Excellent Communication skills including Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms.
Excellent organizational skills.
Previous experience in working in refugee’s gatherings
Previous experience in harsh environments
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office (word , excel )
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field (preferred).
At least 2 years of experience in community mobilization, outreach, or humanitarian fieldwork.
Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Akkar context and ability to build trust with local communities.
Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written); basic English skills are an asset.
Commitment to LECORVAW’s values, safeguarding, and protection principles.
Ability to work as a member of a team essential.
Key Working Relationships:
Position reports to: Project Coordinator (technically) and Project manager
Position supervises: Outreach workers
Position works with: GBV officer, Case workers.
Resilience: This project will address some very difficult and sensitive social issues. Interested applicants should have a strong commitment to addressing women’s rights with cultural sensitivity, respect, and confidentiality. Moreover, flexibility, a sense of humor and willingness to challenge social norms is a plus.
