Psychotherapist - Immediate Hire

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide psychotherapy to those affected by the Syrian refugee crisis when needed and members of the host community in the Safe Women Space

Identify and treat symptoms of psychological disorders, mainly PTSD, depression, and Adjustment Disorder

Provide psychosocial support – groups and individuals – to trauma survivors and conflict affected women/girls

Work directly with the social worker to develop intervention plans and follow up at home level

Provide direct support and guidance to the social worker on common cases

Draft reports

Actively participate in case studies and team supervision sessions

Provide outreach psychological services (mainly in houses and collective shelters)

     Qualifications & Experience:

Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.

Finalized or in the process of finalizing training on psychotherapy – integrative approach.

Undergone or undergoing personal therapy

Fluent in spoken Arabic and good knowledge of English language.

Previous NGO experience is a plus.

Personal interest in educational and mental health issues.

Good communication and teamwork skills
