Psychotherapist - Immediate Hire

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement LECORVAW’s policy with regards to psychological services
• Provide psychotherapy to those affected by the Syrian refugee crisis when needed and members of the host community in the Safe Women Space
• Identify and treat symptoms of psychological disorders, mainly PTSD, depression, and Adjustment Disorder
• Provide psychosocial support – groups and individuals – to trauma survivors and conflict affected women/girls
• Work directly with the social worker to develop intervention plans and follow up at home level
• Provide direct support and guidance to the social worker on common cases
• Draft reports
• Actively participate in case studies and team supervision sessions
• Provide outreach psychological services (mainly in houses and collective shelters)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.
• Finalized or in the process of finalizing training on psychotherapy – integrative approach.
• Undergone or undergoing  personal therapy
• Fluent in spoken Arabic and good knowledge of English language.
• Previous NGO experience is a plus.
• Personal interest in educational and mental health issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
