Social Media Officer

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Management

• Develop engaging content (posts, images, videos, stories, etc.).
• Manage the social media calendar and ensure timely posting.
• Coordinate with program and technical team.

2. Social Media Strategy

• Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify trends and opportunities to enhance online presence.
• Follow up on partner’s and donors social media to align articles and contents accordingly.

3. Community Management

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions.

4. Analytics & Reporting

• Track and measure social media performance using analytics tools.
• Prepare reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.

Deliverables

• Monthly social media content calendar.
• Weekly engagement and performance reports.
• Execution of social media campaigns.
• Monthly and quarterly performance analysis reports with key insights.
• Continuous community engagement and follower growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years in communication, media, or advocacy (NGO experience preferred).
• Languages: Proficiency in Arabic and English (French is a plus).
• Skills:

1. Social media management and content creation.
2. Digital analytics tools proficiency.
3. Graphic design and video editing (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator preferred).
4. Knowledge of gender-based violence issues and advocacy is an advantage.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
