Job Overview/Summary:
The Non-Formal Education Educator will be responsible for facilitating the overall delivery of the programme in a safe, child-friendly environment, upholding the standards of the NRC’s Code of Conduct, while ensuring full inclusion and protection of the vulnerable children as a key responsibility of this role and following NRC’s Protection Policy The position holder will work in close connection with Education Officers (EOs) and will receive a preservice training on topics specific to the context. This will include regular mentoring and observation visits from EOs and other technical staff.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first line of communication with all center visitors e.g. community, parents, children, etc.
- Channel requests to relevant educators or center officers.
- Support the officer in all administrative management issues.
- Support the officer in archiving relevant data (registration forms, attendance forms, progress forms, etc.)
- Collect the logistic and maintenance needs of the center and act accordingly to ensure the center is fully equipped and the inventory is up to date.
- Support the distribution of learning items and all relevant documentation.
- Support in student reception and crowd management at the center
- Support the officer and educators in all student and parent relation management, including waiting list management, information sharing, and communication with the parents.
- Ensure center opening hours within the agreed schedule in coordination with NRC staff.
- Apply/mainstream child protection guidelines following the training provided by NRC.

Qualifications and Relevant Skills:
- One to two years of working experience in education or learning center setup.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work systematically and organised manner
- Ability to listen actively, understand, communicate effectively, and discuss with supervisors and parents on children's related issues.
- Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
