Job Description :
· Coordinate and implement daily project activities at the field level in line with project plans and timelines.
· Liaise with community leaders, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and acceptance of project activities.
· Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions.
· Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and filing of field activities.
· Design, plan, and implement psychosocial support (PSS) activities tailored to community needs and project design.
· Ensure all field interventions are conducted with conflict sensitivity principles, avoiding actions that may exacerbate tensions.
· Act as a focal point for PSEA awareness at the community level, ensuring staff, partners, and beneficiaries are informed about reporting mechanisms and policies.
· Monitor and report on social impact, community feedback, and any risks related to social dynamics.
· Facilitate awareness sessions and training for beneficiaries and community members on PSS, conflict sensitivity, and PSEA.
· Support the development and distribution of relevant materials.
· Participate in project coordination meetings and provide updates on field and social component activities.
· Submit timely activity reports, beneficiary feedback, and incident reports as per organizational requirements.
· Coordinate with M&E teams to ensure proper data collection, analysis, and reporting of social indicators.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Development, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant field experience in humanitarian or development projects.
- The Field Officer must have a valid driving license and their car available for work-related travel
- Proven experience in psychosocial support, community mobilization, or social protection.
- Familiarity with conflict sensitivity approaches and PSEA standards.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in challenging and multicultural environments.
- Fluency in Arabic and good command of English.
- Commitment to humanitarian principles and code of conduct.
- Cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
