Objective 1: Coordinate the implementation of activities in the Community Center or SDC or Mobile Unit including identification of areas for outreach and assessment of families in needs
- Identifies locations for the implementation of the activities in outreach, when needed
- Ensures the application of child protection standards during the activities;
- Provides necessary technical support to enhance and sustain the quality of the services provided under the supervision of the CPO;
- Coordinates with the CP Officer to ensure effective delivery of age-appropriate activities;
- Performs regular assessment on the quality and the content of the intervention;
- Provides necessary technical support to enhance and sustain the quality of the services provided under the supervision of the CPO;
- To maintain regular contacts with the local stakeholders and authorities and keep a database of stakeholders and local partners;
- To support the Community volunteers in the implementation of the CP activities;
- To conduct Community Outreach activities (home visits, assessments, focus group, community meetings, awareness sessions);
- To support in the preparation of special events, recreational, cultural and sport activities together with project staff.
Objective 2: Coordinates the planning of CP activities in collaboration with the Coordinator
Objective 3: Empowerment & Trainings
- Coaches/Supports the Animators on weekly basis in order to adapt the CP activities to the beneficiaries’ needs in collaboration with the Coordinator and CPO.
- Follow-up on the “training by doing” and “coaching” approach delivered by the Animators to the Volunteers in coordination with the CP and CE Officers;
Objective 4:. Refers internal and/or external beneficiaries with special needs, and follow up the referred cases' conditions in collaboration with the Social Worker and Coordinator;
Objective 5: Ensures appropriate monitoring and evaluation systems are in place, support staff in all monitoring processes;
Objective 6: Monitors protection risks and needs and identifying protection cases;
Objective 7: Organizes weekly meetings with Animators and Community Volunteers, to share lessons learned and exchange experiences;
Objective 8: Maintains good relationships with all the local and Governmental actors present in the area;
Objective 9: Manages a team of animators and Social Workers
- Sets realistic and pertinent yearly/project objective to the team member;
- Follow up on the any HR related issue for the team;
- Be part of recruiting process for field based position.
- To perform all organizational and administrative work related to the team of animators and social workers, including reimbursements for Community Volunteers.
Objective 10: Reports, Capitalization and Communication
- Collects the daily reports of the Animators;
- Reports to the Coordinator on regular basis on organizational level including collection of timesheets and leave requests;
- Reports to the PM/PSS coordinator on regular basis on both technical and organizational level
- Provides monthly and weekly reports on progress of activities in the center;
- Ensures the collection of quantitative/qualitative data;
And any other duties seemed relevant to the position and assigned by your manager.
