The organization envisions a world where women are makers of inclusive urban spaces.
Warchée was born from the observation that in a rapidly urbanizing world, particularly in the Middle East, women are excluded from certain professions that remain the preserve of men, notably the construction, architecture, engineering and urban planning sectors. The professional construction sector is a prime example for how women are continuously excluded from equal access to participate in the labor force and to be re-numerated accordingly which impacts negatively their self-esteem to join these fields. This also affects environmental issues, as they tie into sustainable building. Warchée trains women to become sustainable construction entrepreneurs and financially independent decision-makers.
