Strategic
- Maintain Warch(ée) mission, values and strategic vision.
- Develop and implement Warch(ée) sustainability strategy based on multiple levels: revenue generating activities, administrative revenues and fundraising
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships for growth and fundraising
- Maintain good governance structure and system including internal organizational guidelines
- Develop and oversee the implementation of Warch(ée)communication plan (Media/ Social media)
- Ensure an ongoing grants pipeline and efficient donors’ management
Administration & Finance
- Set, monitor and manage Warch(ée) annual budget and cash flow with the admin and finance manager
- Ensure all proper financial procedures and internal guidelines are effective and correctly implemented.
- Every month, control the accountability of the previous month & the reconciliation with bank statements with the admin and finance manager .
- Coordinate with the external auditors with regards to audit of annual financial statements and other certifications
- Follow-up on and update the annual budget on a monthly basis admin and finance manager
- Follow-up on governmental processes with the Ministry of Finance
People Management
- Develop and implement Warch(ée)operational structure,
- Supervise a team of 5 in the training and production department as well as 3 in the admin and finance department
- Recruit & manage Warch(ée) staff; Ensure they have clear objectives and follow-up the adequate implementation of their duties in alignment with the strategic plan
- Oversee team’s performance, ensure the implementation a yearly evaluation with employees
- Ensure that human resources contracts, invoices and payments are done in due time in coordination with the admin & finance officer
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Ensures that indicators as stipulated in the log frames are reached as planned
- Develop and implement Monitoring & Evaluation guidelines
- Ensure that narrative and financial reporting requirements are met
- Projects Implementation
- Ensure that the project is implemented within the expected timeline, budget, and following the agreed log frame.
- Ensure compliance of the implemented activities with the board strategy and the funders’ requirements
- Oversee the development and implementation of training material
Donor relation
- Ensure Warch(ée)is compliant with donors regulations ( AFD)
- Maintain an overview of all grants, donor requirements, rules and regulations, and internal and external deadlines
- Develop concept notes and project proposals in close collaboration with the Board and the Finance and Administration Officer and /or (external consultant)
- Support the Finance and Administration Officer with external audits
Workshop Management
- Follow up the implementation of logistics related to implemented activities
- Manage the management and logistics of the Warch(ée) Workshop in general as well as Warch(ée) events and their delivery
- Work occasionally nights and weekends to attend events or to organize activities
Other
- Develop Warch(ée) annual report
- Ensure that the filing and archiving of administrative, project, and financial documents is implemented on a regular basis (hard & soft copies)
- Any other task as needed
Previous experiance with NGO is a must, going to Triplis on a regular bases is requested
