Major Tasks:
I. Financial management for Vision Lebanon and different grants budgets.
Manage and control the spending in accordance to the approved operating budgets.
Prepare and review monthly input in SUN systems of e-vouchers and ensure all coding is correct & that they comply with business rules.
Work with related managers to prepare variance analysis of all the projects’ financial reports.
Budget and Cash flow preparation
Support in preparing Budget for new proposals
Review the programs Cash request and forward this on to the Finance Reporting Officer for consolidation.
Financial reporting & Reconciliation of accounts
Prepare monthly reconciliation, business advances, travel advances, EER, prepaid expenses and shared cost.
Review Core Reports and LEAP Log frame reports for accuracy ensuring their compliance to the IA209.
Perform and analyze financial summaries and reports for review by the relevant managers, within the organization as needed
Payments settlement
Receive all payment orders and revise them according to established financial policies and the Finance Manual.
Prepare disbursements, vouchers & checks
Prepare and record monthly salaries and benefits related to the projects as appropriate.
Maintain a comprehensive filing system for all vouchers.
Audit requirements
Work closely with the Auditors and follow-up on any audit findings ensuring that these findings are properly addressed.
Assist the relevant managers in any pre-audit preparations.
HEA Responsibilities
Be aware of the emergency procedures in a response and ensure that necessary preparedness measures have been implemented
Other duties
Prepare the occupancy sheet on a monthly basis
Attend and participate in spiritual nurture events as well as other organizational events

EDUCATION / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Education
University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of financial statements, financial reports and Grant Budget preparation.
Strong ability to analyze & solve problems
Good management and organizational skills
Knowledge of computer systems and accounting software (sun system)
Good command of English and Arabic, oral and written.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality
Good analysis skills
Good knowledge of Gov regulations (such as VAT, etc)
Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position
Experience in the financial management of grants from different donors is preferred.
Work Environment
Office-based with no travel to the field
Operates from the National Office (100%)
Position requires willingness and ability to continue to function during a crisis situation, including during a World Vision response to a manmade or natural disaster.
