BRIEF OF PROJECT
World Vision in Lebanon aims to develop a program for a youth group aged 18-25 in Akkar Dreib Area that addresses through a series of sessions (between 8 to 12 sessions) on issues relating to gender roles and norms, masculinities and femininities and their impact on the role of male and female youths, reaching to discussions over relationships, family roles, conflict resolution and violence against women.

Conduct the sessions with the same youth group using the facilitation manual
(Each session between 2 – 3 hrs)
Evaluate every session conducted which will feed into the development of remaining sessions and final program.
Conduct post program evaluation to detect changes and assess the effectiveness of the program at different levels.

TIMELINE
The consultant is expected to start working on the development of the program as of Mid April and the program ends by Mid September 2015 as per specific activities and deliverables. The consultant will work as per agreed number of working days and the dates of the sessions to be facilitated in Akkar will be agreed with the consultant.
NEEDED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in social work or any relevant field.
- Previous experience in development of programs relating to gender issues
- Previous experience in facilitation of sessions with youths
- Strong arabic communication skills and English writing skills
