Short Bio
I am a Civil Engineer with over 12 years of experience specializing in humanitarian Shelter and WASH interventions across Lebanon. Most recently, as Senior Construction Supervisor at Solidarités International, I managed the full project cycle, from conducting rapid technical assessments and BOQs to ensuring high-standard project closures and donor reporting. My background spans both high-level technical supervision and field-level coordination, including expertise in Cash-for-Rent programs and emergency response. I pride myself on being able to bridge the gap between technical engineering requirements and the complex reality of field conditions, ensuring accountable and timely delivery for displaced populations.
Experience with the Civil Society
I have spent over a decade working within Lebanon’s humanitarian sector, where I’ve learned that technical engineering only succeeds when it is built on strong community foundations. My experience goes beyond just " managing projects", it’s about the daily work of collaborating with local municipalities, community-based organizations, and committees in informal settlements to make sure our WASH and Shelter interventions actually meet the people's needs.
In my time with Solidarités International and Concern Worldwide, I haven't just supervised construction, I’ve focused on strengthening local capacity. This has included leading on-the-job training for local teams and facilitating community committees to ensure they have ownership of the projects long after we leave. Whether I’m advocating for the rights of vulnerable families or managing feedback loops with displaced populations, my goal has always been to ensure that civil society remains transparent, accountable, and deeply connected to the people it serves.
