Youth Training Bootcamp covering 6 topics, 12 trainers in 1 location. Topics covers: Leadership, Negotiation Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Creativity, People Management and Body Language. This training is ideal for members who are newly joining the awareness workforce and/or want to be open to taking on activities that include children. This was originally planned as an internal training, but we decided to open it to any interested individuals.

Today's successful managers are bound to adapt and improve their organizational performance by emphasizing their key individual leadership capabilities as well as shaping their teams’ development skills.

This session will introduce the open source, free platform KoboToolbox (www.kobotoolbox.org) which can be used for online and offline data collection. Kobo ToolBox is built on ODK (Open Data Kit), a suite of tools that allows data collection using mobile devices and data submission to an online server, even without an Internet connection or mobile carrier service at the time of data collection.

Engaging with other people can be confusing, even at the best of times where communication is largely through text, and can easily be misunderstood. So what etiquette should you use in email to make the recipient feel comfortable, and to make sure you look professional?

In this context, the main purpose of etiquette is to show consideration for others. It provides anchor points to prove you're on the same page, and at least have some mutual understanding. In other words, etiquette is a subtle way of building rapport.

Increasingly, it is being recognized that volunteering is a valuable resource and should be managed and supported as effectively as possible. By the end of this course, participants are expected to be able to; recruit and manage volunteers, develop policies and procedures for volunteers and identifying the volunteer motives, strengths and weaknesses.

 

The consociational system as well as kinship-based politics have not allowed circulation of political elites, limiting the entry and participation of newcomers and women to the political scene in Lebanon. GIZ ZFD in Lebanon and in collaboration with SALTO-Youth Euromed will be organizing the first Lebanese National Tool Fair "Hit the Road....Break the Code" from 29 June till 1st of July 2018. The tool fair will gather active Facilitators, Trainers, and Activists in Lebanon and will provide them with a space to share a tool they have created/developed under the topic of social cohesion.

This talk hinges on the centrality of the labour movement in the political and economic struggle for change despite structural changes in the global economy hampering the activity and scope of associational power.
